Parking can be quite tricky at check-in time!!! A more personal touch would enhance the experience. A little too much noise from other guests might disrupt sleep!!!

the family who runs clifton house is super helpful! they even came out to help me park when i was struggling, and they loaned me a charger during my stay. the single room was surprisingly roomy, and the shared bathroom was always clean and not an issue. great location near tesco and aldi. Just a short walk to the train station. i totally recommend this place!

The large attic room boasts a fantastic rain shower, touch-sensitive bedside lights with USB ports, and ample tea and coffee supplies. High-speed internet connection and sufficient power sockets enhance the convenience, especially in a spacious setting.
Parking can be tricky. the driveway situation led to a ticket despite being careful. The installations feel dated, with worn carpets and some stains on walls, which detracted from the overall cleanliness. Shared bathrooms might get busy, and a mini fridge or microwave would have added to guest comfort, given the lack of kitchen facilities.

I booked a Double Room with Shared Bathroom for 3 nights in early July. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable bedding, which made for restful nights. The shared bathroom was well-maintained, and I never had trouble accessing it. The nice touch of ample tea and coffee supplies was appreciated. Communication during my stay was clear, especially during check-in when I received instructions via text. A few areas could use improvement, though. The room felt quite basic, lacking storage and personal touches that would make it feel more inviting. An iron and ironing board would have been useful too. I enjoyed my experience but felt the decor could be enhanced to brighten up the space.

The room was spacious and featured comfortable bedding, complemented by good internet connectivity and ample tea and coffee supplies, making it convenient for a relaxed stay. An unfortunate aspect was the condition of the shared bathroom, which could get busy and may need more frequent cleaning. parking nearby proved challenging, and a few furnishings appeared dated, detracting from an otherwise clean environment. Authentic Indian dishes from nearby spots were a delightful highlight.

The room was spacious, with a comfy bed and a fantastic rain shower that really helped me unwind. Relaxing on the cozy sofa with some tea and enjoying the calming atmosphere made my stay even better. Just be aware that shared bathrooms can get busy at peak times, but it didn't really bother me. 😊

The savoury pies at nearby pubs like Eddie's are a must-try. I particularly enjoyed how the en-suite bathroom was spacious and had a powerful shower, making for a fab start to each day. Plus, I found the bed mega comfy—a true gem for a good night's sleep!
While I appreciated the hassle-free key access, it felt a bit lonely not meeting someone who ran the place at least once. The vibe was quite impersonal, but the cozy atmosphere of the room still made my stay enjoyable.
